SFB1432 project kicking off!

During November, our collaborative research center SFB1432 was approvded for a second phase of funding, 2025-2028. As part of the new proposal, our group establishesd a new project, A07. Together with prof. Martina Müller’s group in the University of Konstanz, we will explore charge fluctuations in thin-film ferroelectrics with an unprecedented resolution in space and time. High sptial resolution is achieved thanks to the sensitivity of colloidal quantum dots to single electrons in their nano environment whereas the nanosecond (and even below) temporal resolution is obtained thanks to the use of our innovative optical spectroscopy technique: heralded spectroscopy.
